Building Blocks

The ethentic® Building Blocks encapsulate technical functionality in a reusable manner to ease the creation of tailormade ethentic® Solutions based on these foundational components.

ethentic® Authorizer

The ethentic® Authorizer is a trustworthy building block, which allows to identify and authenticate users and services and authorize corresponding requests based on a variety of standards including OAuth 2.0 according to widely accepted international standard (see RFC 6749, RFC 6750, RFC 7009,RFC 7521, RFC 7523, RFC 7591, RFC 7592, RFC 7636, RFC 7662, RFC 8414, RFC 8628, RFC 9101, RFC 9207 and RFC 9449) and other relevant standards including OpenID Connect, Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), User Managed Access (UMA) and W3C WebAuthn for example.

ethentic® Bridge

The ethentic® Bridge is a highly flexible framework and gateway for the easy and trustworthy integration of authentic sources using standardised interfaces according to ETSI TS 119 478 for example.

ethentic® Issuer

The ethentic® Issuer can be used to issue verifiable credentials and electronic attestations of attributes in standardised formats, such as SD-JWT VC, ISO/IEC 18013-5 and W3C VCDM 2.0, using standardised protocols like OID4VCI with relevant profiles, such as HAIP, ETSI TS 119 472-1 and ETSI TS 119 472-3 for example.

ethentic® SDK

The ethentic® SDK is a comprehensive platform independent Software Development Kit (SDK), which makes it easy to create wallets for natural and legal persons, such as European Digital Identity Wallets or European Business Wallets for example, or similar tailor-made applications on various platforms including Android, iOS, Windows, macOS and Linux for example. It provides a comprehensive and flexible framework for the secure storage and application of cryptographic keys in trusted execution environments, smart cards and other cryptographic hardware devices and supports the issuing, requesting, obtaining, selecting, combining, storing, deleting, sharing and presenting of verifiable credentials and electronic attestations of attributes as well as the creation and validation of electronic signatures, seals and time stamps.

ethentic® Signer

The ethentic® Signer can be used to create advanced and qualified electronic signatures and seals in relevant digital signature formats, such as CAdES (ETSI EN 319 122-1), PAdES (ETSI EN 319 142-1), XAdES (ETSI EN 319 132-1), JAdES (ETSI TS 119 182) and soon also CB-AdES (ETSI TS 119 152-1), based on standardised procedures such as ETSI 319 102-1 for example.

ethentic® Validator

The ethentic® Validator can be used validate advanced and qualified electronic signatures and seals in relevant signature formats, such as CAdES (ETSI EN 319 122-1), PAdES (ETSI EN 319 142-1), XAdES (ETSI EN 319 132-1), JAdES (ETSI TS 119 182) and soon also CB-AdES (ETSI TS 119 152-1), based on standardised procedures such as ETSI 319 102-1 using trust anchors according to ETSI TS 119 612 and ETSI TS 119 602 for example.

ethentic® Verifier

The ethentic® Verifier can be used to request and verify verifiable credentials and electronic attestations of attributes in standardised formats, such as SD-JWT VC, ISO/IEC 18013-5 and W3C VCDM 2.0, using standardised protocols like OID4VP with relevant profiles such as HAIP, ETSI TS 119 472-1 and ETSI TS 119 472-2, with trust anchors according to ETSI TS 119 612 and ETSI TS 119 602 for example.
